Deccan chargers beats Kolkata knightriders by 8 wickets. Deccan chargers who finished last in the first season has made a roaring start against the kolkata knightriders.
Kolkata knightriders won the toss and elected to bat first,Kkr put up a very disappointing performance and scored just 101.Captain Brendon Mc Cullum went for just 1,Sourav Ganguly too disappointed by scoring only 1 run.Kkr struggled to bat against Deccan charger bowlers especially R.P.Singh who not only controlled the run flow but picked wickets at regular intervals.
Deccan chargers made a good start and gave a fitting reply to the opposition by chasing it in just 13.1overs. Th unbeaten partnership of 69 for third wicket by Rohit and Gibbs stealed the victory.
R.P.Singh took 4 wickets while Ojha and Scott Styris picked two apiece.
