Mumbai Indians register their first win against chennai superkings,chennai won the toss and decided to bowl first.Mumbai scored 166/6,Sachin lead the team till the last over after ther fall of Jaysuriya's wicket and scored 59* ,Abhishek nayar made a superb cameo and hit three sixes in an over of Flintoff which led the team to reach a respectable score. Chennai in reply scored 145/8,Dhoni tried to compete the score till the end of his innings but couldn't succeed.Mumbai claims to rock the world and it began with Chennai.Though the debut match was not as interesting as it was in IPL1,where kolkata knightriders stunned royal challengers banglore.
With this victory Mumbai Indians would proceed in the tournament with high moral.
