Kolkata Knightriders wins a thriller at the last ball of their innings. Brendon Mc Cullum was the man who gave an explosive start to the Knightriders which was much needed to chase the target of 189. His 81 of 48 ball acted as propeller for the team to chase the score.
Earlier, Chennai superkings put up a target of 188/3 ,Raina(52) and Dhoni(40) were the top scorers for Chennai in the absence of thier in form batsmen Mathew Hayden.
Ganguly was bold on 4 by Muralitharan,David Hussey also lost his wicket early but Hodge was the man at other end who destroyed the bowlers line and length and led the team to victory after a very long time ,which was much needed.
Hodge scored unbeaten 71 of 44 along with Wridhiman saha 25 of 13 .
Knightriders needed 1 run at the last ball which was a nailbiting one to watch,Saha scored the last run and led the team to taste victory after long tie.
We got the runs on the board, but our bowling was some of the worst I have seen in the IPL," Dhoni said.
It was a superb chase in this season according to me, a fantastic game by the Knightriders.The Knightriders reloaded very late.
