BMW to exit from F1

BMW to leave Formula 1 after 2009 season.
The German manufacturer blames "current development" for pull out.

The Chairman of the BMW board of management said: "Of course, this was a very difficult decision for us. But it's a resolute step in view of our company's strategic realignment."

BMW entered F1 in 2005 with take over of Sauber team.

Currently BMW is eight in constructors world championship
