Batting first Indian batsmen couldnt put up a competitive target but Sehwag's superb knock of 110(87) helped India to reach the score of 223.
Tim Southee 4-49 was the best among black caps though he was expensive while N.McCullum(3-35) and Kyle mills (2-42).
The black caps lost Martin Guptil as their first wicket on first ball duck of Praveen Kumar.
No other batsmen could held long on the crease falling one after other,at the end NZ scored 118 in 30.1 overs.
Praveen kumar and Munaf patel took 3 wickets each while Ishant took 1 wicket.
