Chennai super kings won the toss and elected to bat first against the Central districts, batting first CSK openers known for their powerfull opening couldn't succeed this time as M Hayden got out on duck on the very first ball of the innings.

Raina departed on 4 while Badrinath and Anirudh took CSK to reach a respectable score of 151/4.
Badrinath scored a half century 52(42), and Anirudh made much needed 42(29) batting at 6th.
