IPL 2011 schedule has been done by the IPL governing body, IPL season 4 is all set to be huge hit as before.
IPL3 was under the leadership of Lalit Modi while IPL4 will be under the leadership of Chirayu Amin. After the scams and scandals alleged on Lalit modi the new chairman Chirayu Amin promises to run the tournament in transparent manner.
IPL 2011 -SCHEDULE
IPL 2011 will have 2 new teams from Cochin and Pune a total of ten teams, 45 days, and 74 matches.
IPL 2011- AUCTION
Franchisees can retain a total of players ,3 Indian and one foreign player.
IPL 2011- PLAYERS
A player cannot play more than 14 matches. This is done to prevent player burn out .
IPL 2011 tv rights have been won by the Sony/World sports group for 10years at a cost of 8700 crores (USD $1.94 Billion)
