Mumbai Indians wins a thriller against RCB in their do or die match of the tournament. MI wins by 2 runs in the nail biting match as the match result was carried over till the last ball of the innings.

Batting first Mumbai Indians put up a target of 165 against RCB in the do or die match of the Champions league 2010.

MI openers Sachin Tendulkar and Shikhar Dhawan started well but Sachin fell soon on the score of 11in 8 balls(4's 2 ,6's 0), but Dhawan played sensibly and scored 41 of 37 balls(4's 2, 6's 2).

Later Rayadu came in and he too departed early at a score of 3 in 3balls,Duminy also departed on the score of 10 in 17 balls. At this point of time MI were in deep trouble the score was very low as the overs were nearing to finish.

Pollard came in and faced a bouncer for which he had to duck, again the second ball by Steyn was a bouncer for which Pollard duck himself to let it go , and the third ball was a googly and Pollard was given LBW and he went on duck.

It was Tiwary and Bravo in the end who came in rescue for the MI and hit some huge sixes and boundaries. Tiwary remained not out till the end of the innings on the score of 38 in 30 balls(4's 3, 6's 1) while Bravo was caught by Kohli on the score of 29 in 17 balls (4's 3, 6's 2).

But Harbhajan's cameo was as expected he hit the very first ball he faced for boundary and he totally scored 14 in 6 balls (4's 3, 6's 0).

Batting second RCB lost Kallis soon on the score of 15 in 14 balls(4's 3 ,6's 0) while Dravid at the other played some superb shots till the end of the innings and brought RCB upto the verge of victory, he made 71 of 58 balls(4's 8, 6's 0) which helped the most for RCB to almost seal victory.

But there was Kohli also who turned the entire match for RCB by knocking Malinga and other bowlers for successive boundaries in the last 4 overs of the match. Kohli made 47 of 24 balls (4's 5, 6's 2) which turned hopes around of winning when RCB had lost in middle overs. It was Kohli who made MI bowlers to think before they could ball to him, his stunning performance made the match thrilling and exciting.
