England planning bid to host 2014 Hockey world cup in Olympic park.
UK sport and Visit London also supports the bid by injecting £1m and £500,000 respectively into staging the finals if givven to the capitals.
The Lee Valley Hockey centre which has a capacity of 3000 seats would be expanded to 10,000 seats to hold the spectators for the two week event which will see the Men's and Women's world cup hosted at same venue.
"I'm delighted to add my weight to this impressive bid" said Warren. "I have promoted many events here in London but this is going to be very exciting.
This will be the second time in the history hosting men's and women's world cup at same venue.
